Inhouse Chef
Leader reef has an in house chef called Natalie Fillipi, (Nat) who will come to the house to cook an amazing meal for you. Prices start from $80 per head. Nat is a local girl from Porepunkah who has an amazing talent for serving delicious local seasonal food. Here is a sample menu Nat has put together.
ENTREE
Pea and basil soup with grilled pancetta and crème fraiche.
Fettuccine tossed with olive oil, smoked salmon, fresh tomato and avocado with a hint of chilli and garlic.
Pork and prawn dumplings with chilli oil and Sichuan pepper and salt.
MAIN
Eye fillet steak with pepper and herb butter, caramelised shallots, seasonal greens and creamy mash.
Harrietville trout with smashed potatoes and horseradish crème fraiche, truffled asparagus and balsamic beets.
Vietnamese pork curry with wok tossed greens, steamed rice and roti bread.
DESSERT
Chocolate and date meringue torte with double cream and raspberry coulis.
Lime pannacotta with roasted strawberries.
Rich and oozy chocolate self-saucing pud with vanilla bean ice-cream.
